WHAT IS REVLITE
LASER TREATMENT?
Revlite laser treatment is a non-invasive procedure that uses high-energy light pulses to target and break down melanin deposits. It effectively addresses a range of skin discolorations, including acne scars, sunspots, age spots, liver spots, freckles, and even tattoos.

The FDA-approved Q-switched Revlite laser is safe and performed by our skilled professionals, ensuring minimal discomfort and no damage to surrounding tissues. In addition to treating discoloration, Revlite also stimulates collagen production, promoting skin rejuvenation and a refreshed appearance.
REVLITE LASER
TREATMENT PROCEDURE

The Revlite C8 laser treatment at Radiant Laser Lounge is a simple, effective procedure that helps rejuvenate your skin with minimal discomfort.
1. Consultation
Your journey begins with a consultation, where our experts assess your skin concerns and determine the best treatment plan for you.
2. Preparation
On the day of the treatment, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any dirt or oils. If needed, a topical anesthetic can be applied to ensure you’re comfortable during the procedure.
3. Laser Treatment
The Revlite C8 uses Q-switched laser technology to deliver quick, high-energy pulses that break down pigment and stimulate collagen production, helping rejuvenate your skin. The sensation feels like mild tingling, with no need for anesthesia.
4. During Treatment
The treatment typically lasts around 45 minutes. You’ll be provided with protective goggles to shield your eyes from the laser light. The specialist will carefully move the laser across the targeted areas, focusing on areas of pigmentation, acne scars, or other concerns.
5. Post-Treatment Care
After the session, you may experience mild redness and slight swelling, but this usually subsides within an hour. There is no downtime, and you can return to your regular activities immediately.
6. Follow-Up Sessions
For optimal results, 5–6 sessions are recommended, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Over the course of your treatments, you’ll notice smoother, clearer, and more even-toned skin as collagen continues to rebuild over the next few months.
Revlite C8 laser treatment is a safe, non-invasive solution to a variety of skin concerns, and at Radiant Laser Lounge, we ensure that the procedure is comfortable, effective, and tailored to your individual needs.

Revlite Laser Before and After Treatment Care
✓ Avoid Exfoliating: Do not exfoliate your skin for at least one week prior to your appointment to avoid irritation. Be cautious of skincare products containing exfoliating ingredients like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, retinol, or topical antibiotics.

✓ Stay Out of the Sun: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks before your treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin may require adjustments to the laser settings, so it’s best to have your skin at its natural tone.

✓ Hydrate Your Skin: Ensure your skin is well-hydrated before the procedure. Drink plenty of water, and avoid products that can dry out your skin, such as clay masks or salicylic acid, a few days before the appointment.
✓ Wash With Cool Water: After your treatment, wash your face with cool water to soothe any heat sensations. Avoid using skincare products until the morning after the treatment.

✓ Use a Cool Pack (if needed): To reduce any discomfort or irritation, gently apply a cool pack to the treated area. Never apply ice directly to the skin.

✓ Use Gentle Products: Apply calming products like aloe vera gel, and avoid harsh fragrances, exfoliants, or acids for at least 3 to 4 days post-treatment.

✓ Apply Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher): Your skin will be more sensitive after the treatment, so avoid direct sun exposure. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen if you need to be outside.

✓ Avoid Makeup: Refrain from wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment to give your skin time to recover.

✓ Skip Strenuous Activities: For at least 48 hours, avoid activities like intense workouts, dry saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools. These can increase blood circulation and potentially irritate the skin.

✓ Avoid Further Treatments: Give your skin time to heal before scheduling additional treatments. Consult your therapist to determine the appropriate wait time based on your next treatment.
Revlite Laser Treatment Potential Side Effects
While Revlite C8 laser treatment is generally safe and well-tolerated, like any cosmetic procedure, there may be some potential side effects. These side effects are usually mild and temporary, but you must be aware of them for a smooth recovery.
Frosting
After treatment, your skin may temporarily turn a frosty white color. This is a common response to the laser’s thermal effect and typically subsides within 20 minutes. It is a normal reaction and nothing to be concerned about.
Scabbing
In some cases, scabs may form on the treated area 1 to 2 days after the procedure. As the skin heals, the scab will eventually fall off, taking the top layer of pigment or debris with it. This is part of the natural healing process.
Blisters
Small blisters may form, especially if the skin was exposed to heat during the procedure. These blisters are typically harmless and will heal within 1 to 2 weeks without causing scarring. It’s important not to pop or pick at blisters to avoid complications.
Scars and Pigmentation Changes
In some cases, scabs may form on the treated area 1 to 2 days after the procedure. As the skin heals, the scab will eventually fall off, taking the top layer of pigment or debris with it. This is part of the natural healing process.
Itching
Itching is a common sensation during the healing process as your skin regenerates. While this is normal, you should resist the urge to scratch, as doing so can cause irritation or even damage the skin.
